Find a gym buddy

Lots of people walk in and out of the gym when I'm working out. For the longest time, I was intimidated by the gym thinking people were watching me. I felt like I looked like an idiot when I lifted weights or ran on the treadmill.

After awhile I started to get lost in my routine, earbuds in and 80s Rock blasting away. The same people would be working out attempting to acheive the same goal...staying healthy.

These "people" can become your friends, your accountability team and your workout "buddy". A few weeks ago I began a fitness journey with seven other people. Some I've known my whole life (one was my mom) and others I've met at the gym.

I've had a great time getting to know them better and challenge them as they challenge me. Building a fitness community can be a huge asset to your success.

Now, I don't feel alone at the gym any more.
