Mid-week Restorative and Relax

The intention of Mid-week Restorative and Relax is to settle your mind and body in order to finish the work week strong and balanced. This restorative yoga class uses a series of easy poses (sometimes using props). This gentle, slow and mindful class will help you ground and center yourself. Take a little time for yourself by connecting the body and the breath for a great relaxing experience.

Restorative poses are held for longer periods of time and have been proven to be therapeutic, encouraging peace of mind while managing pain and stress.

RUN+ YOGA (ROGA)

Run + Yoga (ROGA) is a modern style of yoga practice designed for runners. The focus of the class is using yoga asanas (poses) and focused breathing to improve running ability, strength, flexibility and endurance.

We meet under the main pavilion at Ballard Nature Center, set our intention, briefly stretch and begin our run. We will run for 45-50 minutes followed by a 40 min yoga sequence designed for runners.

There is no cost for this event, however it would be nice to know how many to expect. You can register at http://bit.ly/bookjryoga.

It will include a variety of stretching, strengthening and balance while respecting your body's boundaries.
